Part 121 ATOS

ATOS Has Arrived…
For most 121 air carriers, transition to FAA’s Air Transportation Oversight System (ATOS) is now necessary. While ATOS permits FAA to more effectively target their inspection and surveillance resources, the system also creates some challenges for most 121 carriers, to say the least.

We Can Help
Omni Air Group understands ATOS, Safety Attribute Inspections (SAIs) and Element Performance Inspections (EPIs). We know how to apply FAA’s Element Evaluation Tracking Tool (EETT) and produce a listing of Specific Regulatory Requirements (SRRs) which must be incorporated into your written guidance and Statement of Compliance (SOC). We also understand how to incorporate FAA’s six Safety Attributes of Authority, Responsibility, Procedures, Controls, Process Measurements and Interfaces into each of your air carrier processes. Unless your manual system addresses these safety attributes in a manner that permits FAA inspectors to answer “yes” to all SAI and EPI checklist questions, reoccurring inspections will continue to automatically be generated by the system. These inspections and the manual revisions they necessitate will interrupt your daily operations and tax your valuable resources.

Call us toll-free at 1-877-PART 121 (1-877-727-8121)  for assistance with your transition to ATOS, or to subscribe to the OAG Safety Management System.
We also offer a variety of other products and services, including external audits, certification services and a number of stand-alone manuals & programs, including a comprehensive ADAMP, Security Programs, Dangerous Goods Programs, Ground Deicing/Anti-Icing Programs and aviation consulting.

FAA’s Automated System

FAA’s recent Surveillance & Evaluation Program (SEP) Rev. 25, Module 4 directs your principal inspectors to utilize SAI and EPI checklists when performing inspection and surveillance activities. Checklist questions that cannot be answered “yes” are entered into the ATOS database by your principals. Additional inspections are then automatically generated that target any findings.

Keep Your Manuals User-Friendly
Omni Air Group’s experienced team of technical writers are able to preserve the integrity of your existing policies and procedures while incorporating safety attributes into your manuals and programs. In addition, OAG’s Safety Management System meets the requirements of SAI 7.2.1 and SMS Advisory Circular AC 120-92.
