Omni Air Group was co-founded in 1997 by Paul Salerno, previous owner and Director of Operations for Salair Air Cargo and Classic Airlines. Paul began his aviation career in 1976 as an A&P mechanic. He is an Airline Transport Pilot and has held positions as Chief Pilot, Chief Inspector, Instructor and Check Airman under FARs 135 and 121. Paul holds a BS degree in Aerospace Science and is an experienced technical writer. He is the developer of OAG’s Quality SMS, and is President of Omni Air Group.
Rich Stuart is the original developer of OAG’s award-winning Incident Reporter™ Safety Risk and Quality Management Database. Rich is a commercial pilot, flight instructor and has and authored numerous publications for airline operations. He is also an experienced software developer. Rich is is OAG’s senior software developer, and is in charge of IR tech support for OAG clients.
Cheryl Bzdawka is OAG’s office manager, and oversees day-to-day operations and order processing / fulfillment. Cheryl is OAG's resident expert on the SMS Information & Training Centre (ITC), and provides training to OAG clients on use of the system. She is also a CPA and Notary Public.
Rachel Gerk completes Operations Manual and SMS Manual customizations for OAG clients. Her attention to detail ensures the highest quality production of all written guidance offered by OAG.
Heidi Westfall earned her Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from Eastern Washington University, graduating with honors. In addition to providing professional OT services, Heidi’s other areas of professional interest include human factors and those which influence intrinsic motivation. Heidi assists OAG in the development of online courses of training in Safety Management Systems. Her attention to detail and articulate presentation of subject material ensure the delivery of high-quality, consistent and effective computer-based training courses.
Greg White provides Information Technology services for OAG which include programming, data security / backup, and the configuration, administration and support of all OAG servers.
Chris Winston creates web-based applications for Omni Air Group. Chris's knowledge and understanding of html, xml, java, and other programming languages provides OAG with valuable insight regarding the capabilities and practical application of modern Information Technologies. Chris is a principal of Inland Internet Solutions, and maintains the OAG website.
