External Audits
Upon request, OAG may perform an independent External Audit of your flight, maintenance and ground operations to uncover possible deficiencies in systems or processes. Audit findings are then reported in confidence to your Safety Manager and senior management including suggestions for corrective action plans.

Professional Consulting,  24/7
In the unlikely event of an accident, incident or IEP-identified area of high risk that cannot immediately be corrected, OAG provides 24/7 telephonic support with suggestions and solutions to mitigate risk and improve processes or systems. These services are provided by OAG’s qualified and knowledgeable aviation managers, each with more than 25 years of management experience in the airline and general aviation industries.

OAG maintains close liaison with the FAA, NTSB and industry safety organizations and associations. From incident / accident response and effective risk mitigation strategies to tactful FAA relations and guidance in the preparation of voluntary disclosures, OAG supports your Safety Manager and your Safety Committee.

SMS Support

Fully Supported
The OAG Safety Management System is fully supported by OAG’s staff of professional aviation managers. Together we have more than 75 years of combined aviation management experience which includes 125, 135 & 121 certifications, manual and program development, crisis management, business turnaround strategies and owner / operator responsibilities.

Development
Omni Air Group works with you to develop your written SMS program. Your program will be designed, with your input, to complement the size and scope of your operations, operating rules, contractual requirements and available management resources.  See SMS Pricing for more information.

Program Hosting
OAG hosts your program in Microsoft SharePoint® on the internet for 24 / 7 worldwide access by your personnel and your vendor's employees. Simplified access to your program and reporting forms facilitates prompt electronic reporting of hazards by all personnel and vendor employees  through Chapter 5’s Confidential Reporting System.

Confidential Reporting System
Employees can easily report hazards or irregularities (anonymously if desired) by accessing the appropriate reporting form online and filling in form fields; anywhere, anytime. Clicking on the “Submit” button instantly sends the report to your Safety Manager via email, at the address you specify. This system makes it easy and secure for your people to report such occurrences. Even contract maintenance and fueling personnel can report hazards in this way. You can’t assess risk unless you are aware of the hazards.

Training for All Personnel
Train all personnel with SMS on-line training (and qualification via testing) by logging on with your company name and secure password. Online training begins with an endorsement by senior management which confirms and validates your company’s commitment to a positive safety culture. Training modules emphasize this safety culture and enable your personnel and managers to fully understand SMS concepts and apply procedures. Specialized training modules for all managers and your Safety Manager are also offered.

Monthly Newsletter
OAG’s Aire-Mail® system of information dissemination provides an additional method of continuous improvement in aviation safety for your Company. OAG’s staff performs queries across multiple databases and searches an extensive warehouse of industry-shared safety data, condensing the data into articles that apply to aviation safety at your company. Monthly Aire-Mail® articles are based on ASRS, NTSB and FAA accident/incident reports, as well as SAFOs, NPRMs, FAA bulletins, ICAO notices and other applicable guidance. The Aire-Mail® Newsletter includes articles that address aviation safety from all perspectives, such as safety insights derived from accident and incident information.

Performance Assessments
Each month, OAG provides your Safety Manager with a Performance Assessment (Audit) Package. Each package contains system safety checklists which, unlike traditional compliance-based checklists, are performance-oriented. Using these performance-based questions, your Safety Manager is able to assess the performance of your various aviation systems and processes. This includes evaluation of safety attributes, standards, best practices and successful process outputs.

Monthly assessments permit you to systematically review a specific area of maintenance, ground or flight operations, enabling identification of any system or process deficiencies that may exist. A full audit cycle requires completion of twenty-four (24) monthly assessment packages. Completed assessments are filed, secured and maintained by your Safety Manager in accordance with detailed instructions provided.

Revisions Made Easy
Revise your Safety Management Program online using MS WORD, save your changes and publish or print. OAG’s exclusive simplified Revision and Document control makes your revisions fast and easy. Call us for more information.
